Question Vault – DBS Bank
Role in the project: User Interaction | User Interface design
About the Project
Question Vault is a DBS mobile application for DBS bank employees. It enables employees to be better prepared for user interviews and it also allows them to seek help related to user interviews from “coaches” in the organisation and other team members.

Pain Points
• Team members new to user interviews had difficulty getting started on the interviewing process without guidance.
• Many found it difficult to keep track of their team member’s feedback in regards to the interview questions that they’ve prepared.
• Teams would sometimes be bias and choose to only work with the popular “coaches”, leaving the workload between the coaches unbalanced.
Problem Statement
Team members needed to see the value in putting together an interview guide but at the same time, found it difficult to get started. They needed guidance and feedback from team members and coaches to know if they were on the right track.
The Solution
To design a mobile application that would allow teams to easily manage their user interview process, such as communicating with other team members and coaches, as well as to better structure their user questions.

The Objective
To design a minimal viable product of the mobile application for a 3 week design sprint.
Design Iterations
• Some of the iterations that was done for the interview guide template (image 1) was to add a short description for each model template, to give a team members a better understanding as to what the template was about.
For previewing of the template design (image 2),
• A drop down section was added to the design so that team members could choose which topic of the guide they wanted to view.
• Team members could also collapse each section in the guide.
• The colour of the model questions indicator was also changed as the light red colour did not have a very good response during the usability testing.
